Sharon and Justin
met back in 2011 on a Craiglist roommate search and quickly became good friends as well as housemates.
With both of them sharing roots in California, the pair exemplifies the laid back mentality of the West Coast while fully embracing the New York hustle. They were both working two jobs when they met: starting their careers in advertising and real estate while bartending at night. This mutual understanding of what it takes to succeed and embracing hard work to achieve their goals has laid the foundation for how SJS operates.
When Justin left bartending behind he dove completely into NYC real estate. As a licensed real estate agent he was able to be a part of management, brokerage, construction, and investing. While working in all aspects of real estate he was able to gain extensive knowledge through experience. Buying a million-dollar condo? Negotiating a 15-year commercial lease? Roof leaking at 2 am due to heavy and unexpected rainfall? Take a 4 story brownstone down to the studs and rebuild it into 14 single family apartments? Justin was there every step of the way, from the brokerage, the negotiations, the management, and the hands-on demo and rebuilds. However, through all of this experience, he realized that something was missing: a way for someone without a lot of money to invest in real estate.
On the other side of the table, Sharon decided to pursue her career in advertising. Now a veteran producer with a decade of experience, she is merging her extensive resources of design and management skills to the Real Estate investment field. Working directly with brands such as Google, Nike, Budweiser, General Mills, Hershey, NBA, Diageo, and many others, she understands the importance and balance of client management as well as tight timelines and budget restraints. The cross-section of skills from her past roles are directly applied to identifying key properties and overhauling them to a refined and polished finish under the constraints of a traditional budget.
The two came together over dinner to discuss their futures and catch up back in 2018, and over that conversation, SJS Partner Holdings was officially born. Two motivated and experienced former roommates with a goal of helping to create real estate wealth with investor's limited funds. Sharon, the producer with an incredible eye for design and timeless vision. Justin, the seasoned real estate professional with the know-how to get the vision done on a budget. Today, they work together to leverage each other's specific skill sets to work for you.
